Sunlight

The sun melts the shadows surrounding my heart

All my racing and vicious thoughts halt to a peaceful silence

and I am left softly smiling my face up towards the sky

Allowing the light to lift my heaviness, my burdens, all my pain

For I know that everything will be okay in the sunlight
