Connection
Itās important to see how you connect with people.
Do you connect on a shared hatred, depression, similar anxieties, on complains? Do you connect sharing similar love, the things you enjoy, similar goals, or aspirations?
I noticed those I connected with from discussing our misery or suffering were usually the relationships that drained me of my energy. The ones that continuously brought me down and took the most from me. I would exit the conversation feeling worse, not cared about or listened to, and often times even ashamed.
I also realized the relationships I connected with love are the ones that would uplift me, inspire me, motivate me. They were the ones I felt the least judged around. That make me smile and feel comfortable being myself. I noticed misery loves company, and love and happiness only wish to spread their joy.
Take an honest look in your life to see which relationships naturally drain you of your energy and the ones that uplift you and make you happy. Know that it is okay to let go of what no longer serves you, it is okay to let go of what you have outgrown to make space in your life for what you truly do want. To attract the people who currently resonate with you or where you want to grow into. Never settle for anything that doesnāt make you happy or robs you of your time and energy.
You deserve to be aligned with your highest good and achieve all of your hopes and dreams. Being surrounded by the right people who elevate you is a big step towards your goal. ā§ĖĀ°
