One Word

If I had to describe myself in one word, it would be limitless.

I am a philosopher, writer, student, teacher, listener, explorer, creator, hippy, spiritualist, empath, ambivert, libra sun and cancer moon. You name it, I can embrace it. But all these labels limit me to only these specific definitions. To only these certain descriptions and traits when I am so much more.

So much more than anyone could imagine. And so is every other person. Everyone has a life as vivid and complex and as real as your own. We are all limitless. We are all not confined within a few words and attempted definitions of this crazy experience we call life. Why would we want to restrict ourselves to just words when we could simply just be?

Not everything is identifiable, and that’s okay. We don’t need to have a word for every thought, feeling, or personality trait. That’s why writing is so beautiful. It’s an ability to express yourself so that others may understand to some extent. But not everything needs a specific emotion or definition, sometimes we can allows things to simple be.

The more I learn about these labels, the more overwhelmed I become. Where has the empty space to create and imagine gone? Where is the freedom in just being present with another?

The more I learn the less I know. Which is beautiful, because there is so much more out there in the world. So many different types of people and knowledge and experiences waiting for us to encounter. So much left to be heard and spoken of. So much to learn and grow from still.

At the end of the day, we are all human. We are all the same, with the same desires and curiosity for meaning. What we do with our time here matters. We can evolve, change, and grow into everything we ever desired to be. Or we can remain the same, doing the same thing we’ve always known and will continue to know until we break the cycle and go outside of the box.

I am not limited to just a few words, and neither are you! We are all limitless beings of light simply having a silly human experience.
