Overpopulation
It bothers me when people say animals are over populated. And with that follows the excuse to kill them.
It can be any creation of life; deer, cows, birds, anything, and that is justification enough to take their life. But if it were a dog or a cat, maybe people would think twice or reconsider. Perhaps if humans didnāt consistently destroy their environments and homes to make more houses for ourselves, since we are actually the ones that are over populated, we wouldnāt see the amount of animals present as a problem.
If we keep destroying and taking away their homes where are they going to go? Seriously, where are they going to go? If we constantly keep cutting down the next forest they find a new home in and then the next one and the next one. If all the animals from all the forests you cut down run to the last bit of tress left in the area, of course it is going to be overpopulated. What if we decided to wiped out the whole entire east coast of human homes... where are we going go? The next closest place available to settle down in and then that area will become overpopulated.
The neighborhood I was staying in recently cut down a huge forest for new houses, despite not finishing the neighborhood they already were constructing. Now they complain there is an overpopulation of coyotes, and decided to kill them, because they are āoverpopulatedā and now a āproblemā.
If you believe in God, and there only being one omniscient being, what gives you the right to play God? What gives you the right to take away innocent lives and have a say in who should live and die? Itās not a matter of survival, itās a matter of selfishness. Who gives you the authority to murder in convenience for your own needs? It blows my mind the little to no consideration for these beautiful creatures who just want a home. Some people are fixated how they can make their next quick buck no matter the expense of others.
