Spirituality / Individuality
Religion is a belief someone else has already created for you. Spirituality is an untraditional individual path of collecting your own and otherās ideas, thoughts, beliefs, and personal truths of what makes life meaningful to you.
Whatever aspect you believe in, itās beneficial to branch out to explore your own individuality. People are often born into a religion, that religion is all they know and all they care to know. Some people are fine within a bubble of comfort and limited amount of information they have been given coming into this world, to only ever know what they were told to believe in. But there is so much more knowledge out there.
Life times full of brilliant philosophers and writers from so many different cultures and beliefs. Itās limiting to only educate yourself on one aspect, on one religion. There is no negative side to knowledge. Before making any sort of judgment or disagreement, it is important to educate yourself. Learn more about what others believe in and why, and always try to keep an open mind. Diversity is beautiful. We all come from different backgrounds, beliefs, and cultures. We all come up with our own interpretations of what makes life meaningful to us.
Learning something new and viewing life from a different perspective helps keep life interesting and fun. To figure out what makes you feel the most passionate about life. What fuels your soul with energy, nourishment and fulfillment, the feeling that life is beautiful and meaningful. When you open your mind into learning new information and other perspectives, you become your own person with your own beliefs. You may not fit in within a box anymore, but you will be listening to your heart and following what feels right for you.
Read upon other religions, spiritual beliefs, and philosophies to see what best suits you and feels right for as an individual, not just what someone has told you to be or believe in. We all have our own unique gifts and perspectives to share, cherish that. Donāt dim your light to follow in anotherās footprints or path. Carve your own path, wander a little bit. Those who get lost discover new places.
Life is precious, we should take advantage of the opportunity we have been given to grow and learn. We have the freedom to be anything and everything we ever wanted to be. Knowledge is power. š
